By accessing or using Skizze ("the Platform"), you agree to be bound by these Terms of Service. If you do not agree, you may not use the Platform.
Skizze is an online marketplace that connects clients with freelance professionals. We provide the platform and tools to facilitate service discovery, communication, and order management. Skizze is not a party to the agreements between clients and freelancers.
You must provide accurate and complete information when creating an account. You are responsible for maintaining the security of your account credentials. You must be at least 18 years old to use the Platform.
You agree not to:
The Platform may not be used to offer, list, advertise, or transact any of the following:
When publishing a service, freelancers must explicitly confirm that the service does not infringe this section. Skizze may at any time remove listings, suspend accounts, and seize available balances of any user found to be operating outside of these restrictions, with or without prior notice.
Freelancers are responsible for the quality and timely delivery of their services. Service listings must accurately represent the work offered. Freelancers are independent contractors, not employees of Skizze.
Clients must provide clear requirements and respond to freelancer communications in a timely manner. Clients agree to review deliveries and provide feedback within a reasonable timeframe.
Orders are created when a client hires a service through the Platform. Payment terms, methods, and any applicable fees will be communicated clearly before an order is confirmed. All transactions are subject to our payment processing policies.
Unless otherwise agreed between client and freelancer, intellectual property rights for work delivered transfer to the client upon full payment. Freelancers retain the right to display completed work in their portfolio unless restricted by the client.
In case of disputes between clients and freelancers, both parties should first attempt to resolve the issue through direct communication via the Platform. Skizze may, at its discretion, mediate disputes but is not obligated to do so.
Freelancers acknowledge that clients may dispute a transaction with their card-issuing bank for up to 120 days after payment, and that Skizze, as the merchant of record, is financially responsible for any chargeback, refund, or penalty applied by the payment processor.
When a chargeback or refund is attributable to the freelancer's delivery (including but not limited to undelivered work, work materially outside the agreed scope, content infringing Section 5, or quality substantially below what was advertised), Skizze reserves the right to:
Fines or penalties levied against Skizze by the payment processor as a direct result of a freelancer's conduct (including violations of Section 5) will be passed through in full to the responsible freelancer.
Skizze provides the Platform "as is" without warranties of any kind. We are not liable for any damages arising from the use of the Platform, including but not limited to loss of data, revenue, or profits. Our total liability shall not exceed the fees paid by you in the 12 months preceding the claim.
Skizze may suspend or terminate any account, with or without prior notice, that:
A positive available balance held by a suspended freelancer will be released within 30 days of suspension, after deduction of any pending refunds, chargebacks, or fines. The user has 7 days from notice of suspension to contest the action by writing to support@skizze.io; Skizze will review the contest in good faith but the final decision rests with Skizze. You may delete your account at any time from your settings; upon deletion, the same balance-release rules apply.
We may update these Terms from time to time. Continued use of the Platform after changes constitutes acceptance of the updated Terms. We will notify users of material changes via email or Platform notification.
If you have questions about these Terms, please contact us at legal@skizze.io.
